Microneedling (also known as collagen induction therapy) is a minimally invasive treatment to rejuvenate the skin. A device with fine needles creates tiny punctures in the top layer of the skin that triggers the body to create new collagen and elastin, which improves skin tone over time.
Results can include improved texture and firmness, as well as reduction in scars, pore size, sagging skin, and stretch marks. Traditional microneedling is a safe, chemical-free treatment to trigger new collagen. When combined with radiofrequency, it becomes the newest revolution in contouring and tightening for the face, neck, and body.
Secret RF by Cutera is one of the most advanced RF microneedling devices in the market today. It combines targeted microneedling with radiofrequency energy to help stimulate and tighten the skin. The RF microneedling procedure usually takes between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the area being treated. The procedure involves placing a handpiece against the surface of the skin and activating radiofrequency energy. The handpiece consists of a multiple-needle head that is accurately applied within a specified depth. A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to minimize discomfort.

The clear, micro-channels created remain open for four to six hours, creating the opportunity to supplement the skin with serums and recovery protocols that create optimal results. After that time period, our clients are ready for a night out, with very little to no indication of any treatment that day.
Many patients find three treatments, spaced four to six weeks apart, provide the experience they are looking for. Results can take up to three months to fully appear as the process of collagen regeneration increases over time. Most patients see noticeable improvements after 1-2 treatments, but optimal results typically require a series of 3-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
The actual treatment takes about 45 minutes, with an additional 30 to 45 minutes needed prior for numbing.
Most patients go out hours after the treatment with no makeup at all. We recommend at least six hours before you apply makeup, and you may even wait until the next morning.
We are able to treat most skin colors, including tanned skin and dark skin.
